Looking to join us?

We're a small, friendly guild playing DAoC on the Gaheris server whose main aims are to be there for each other when needed and to enjoy our time in game.
Consequently we don't have a long rule list, we just ask that our members respect each other and treat other players as they would expect to be treated themselves.

Our members are currently all long time and returning players and we welcome players both experienced and new to the game.
We are a part of the Legendary Mercenaries alliance.

We are currently recruiting, if you are interested in joining us either post here or talk to any Aggleydagh member in game

I am currently playing on Palomides in Midgard but am considering swtarting a new character (and dithcing the palomides one) on the Gaheris server becuase of the coop aspects. I would like to join a guild immediately after character creation and would also like suggestions as to what class of character best suits the coop server (I'm a warrior on palomides). I'm relatively new to the game, only at level 10, once had a character at level 20 a few years ago but left the game after my trial period ran out.

Hey Andrew,
We'd be happy for you to join us. We have some characters at most level ranges in the guild, I think you'll love the coop aspects of Gaheris, most people once they try it find they do.
As for which class of character, well a lot of it is personal choice and i always think the best advice is to play what you like. Having said that, a warrior is always a wanted class especially for the shield abilities, paladins and valks for the same reason. Any pbaoe caster (sm or enchanter usually) is wanted to as well as healing types that are actually played rather than bots.

Hello,

I am a casual player on Gaheris who used to be part of a guild. However, my former guildmates couldn't deal with the fact that I didn't play as often as they did. Also all of my 30 chars (yes, I really do have all 30 character slots taken - 10 Midgard, 10 Albion, 10 Hibernia) are all crafters, and the guild was constantly pestering me for crafted items, which made it diffucult to get anything done for myself.

I left the guild for the above reasons. I would like to be in a guild, provided the guild respects my decision to be a casual player, and also realizes that it takes a long time to level up that many characters, so my crafting skills go up slowly.

If you feel your guild would be willing to accept all my characters, and be understanding of my circumstances, I would definitely consider joining.

Hi Jeremy,

I have no problem at all with 30 characters, I'm getting very close to that myself - I like variety.
As for casual playstyle, again no problem as far as we're concerned. There's no pressure in our guild to do anything at all or play set times etc. With myself and my husband being in the UK we've usually logged off by around 8pm est, although have been known to be later at times. The other guild members are in the US so there are people on at various times.
As far as crafting goes, I usually prefer to do what crafting I can myself, I have a capped tailor, a sc'er around 750 and am starting to level up on armor and wcing while my husband has got his alchemist to near lgm now. There would be no expectations from the guild for you to craft for other members. We have a guild house with a forge, and in our own houses next door are a lathe and alchemy table and some of the crafting merchants which guild members have access to if you feel like a change of scenery.

If there's anything else you'd like to know just let me know, either here or in game. I'd be very happy for you to join us if you decide we are what you have been looking for. Easiest thing in game is to do a /who aggleydagh as while I tried to keep my toons with similar names that hasn't worked out, my husband is usually on with something starting with Garst.

We are more than happy if guild members want to do their own thing, shame your previous guild was not very tolerant. It's nice to have guild chat and alliance chat whilst crafting. The Legendary Mercenaries alliance chat is friendly and there always seems to be raids arranged or spontaneous groups forming to do some arti, keep, quest etc, if you fancy a change.

We'll keep a look out for you, although later today I should be on a ML5 raid that was scheduled for the time the servers are due back up, if the raid happens (it'll be postponed if the servers are very late back) I won't be able to zone out easily to invite but can do so afterwards. Other than that if you check for any guild member online we will be able to sort out inviting your toons, if neither Garst or I are around Unyel is also able to invite.

Hi my wife and I are reletivly new to the game and new to the server. We are looking for good ppl to show us the ropes of the game and have fun with. We are both lvl 18 atm and she plays a cleric and I play a champion. We play est time and hope to join you soon.

Hello Anni, I'm a 25lvl Dwarf Skald, looking for a new Guild, the other Guild I was in, like so many new Guilds, kinda died. I recently came back to Gaheris, but it's kinda Lonesome, I miss the Guild Chat, and having someone to group with. So, if your Guild can use a Dorf Skald, I'm offering my services, meager as they may be, hehe. BTW, the name Grrumpi Oldephart, was my sons idea, he said something about how it Fit, hmmmmmmm, wonder just what he's trying to say? Anyway I'll look for ya'll in-game and give yas a shout.
